Mississauga, ON - September 21, 2006 - Microsoft Canada Co. today announced the finalists for this year's Microsoft Partner Program IMPACT Awards. The fourth annual IMPACT Awards acknowledge the exceptional work Registered, Certified and Gold Certified partners in Canada are doing with Microsoft-based technologies and software to deliver innovative, specialized solutions and unparalleled value to their customers. The winners will be announced at a gala event in Toronto on November 2, 2006.

Krikke Computer Services Inc. has become the one of the first Microsoft Small Business Specialists in the Burlington area. To attain this new designation, KCS has demonstrated expertise in planning and building solutions for small businesses. As part of the Small Business Specialist Community, KCS will receive a rich set of benefits from Microsoft, including access to training specifically designed for the small-business industry.
As one of the requirements for attaining Small Business Specialist status, members of the KCS staff had to pass Microsoft’s Small Business Sales and Marketing Skills Assessment, designed to test the company’s knowledge of the dynamics and dependencies of the small-business market, as well as the value to small business of several software solutions, including Windows® XP Professional, Microsoft Office 2003 and Windows Small Business Server 2003. In addition, KCS staff also had to pass a certification exam that measures the ability to design and implement solutions for the small and medium-sized business by using Windows Small Business Server 2003 and the Windows Server System.
